Skydyne Field Desk – Single

Description

The Skydyne Company designed the Skydyne Field Desk – Single to be an updated aluminum version of the Vietnam era field desk. The benefit of this military field desk is its ability to pack up into a case when stored or transported. The legs of the desk are folded into the tabletop and that tabletop is then latched over the desk drawers as a case cover. This design allows the desk to be quickly deployed and stored, increasing mobility.

This updated version of the original military field desk is both lightweight and rugged. Each Skydyne desk is constructed using formed aluminum and aluminum extruded edge frames. This single-desk version includes one aluminum tabletop. The easily-deployable and adjustable legs are manufactured from both aluminum and steel parts to provide additional strength. Skydyne manufactures the removable drawers using formed and riveted aluminum sheet. The largest drawers include hanging folder frames. And each of the drawers can be replaced if lost or damaged. The hardware of each desk includes two spring loaded handles, auto-tension latches, rubber feet, and a calling card holder. Additionally, Skydyne offers the option to receive vinyl decals of unit insignias with each desk purchase.

The drawers of the Skydyne Field Desk – Single are customizable and can be fitted with custom foam inserts. Additionally, The Skydyne Company offers aluminum server racks as a replacement for the aluminum drawers. The ability of the Skydyne military field desk to be customized makes it a great option for kitting purposes and unique requirements.
